H.C. Ørsted Gymnasiet in Lyngby will get new premises that will reflect the professional values of the education and create space for creative and alternative learning.
The new high school will have rooms that encourage creative thinking and have zoned rooms that provide room for group work. The building will function as a learning playground, where architecture and interior design provide space for both theory and practice.
The building is also inspired by H.C. Ørsted's thoughts on electromagnetism which are incorporated into the building's design, where classrooms, stairs and meeting rooms are designed as coils.
